Johnny Underwood Legacy Scholarship

The Johnny Underwood Legacy Scholarship is awarded to one person each year in honor of the first President of the NCCCSPA, Johnny Underwood. The scholarship covers conference registration fees, and honors the recipients hard work in the community college classroom. All North Carolina community college psychology and sociology faculty are eligible to apply. Winners demonstrate dedication to the mission of the NCCCSPA, and we congratulation each one of them.

First Time Attendee Scholarship

New for 2025 is the NCCCSPA First Time Attendee Scholarship. We love our regular attendees, but we love getting to meet new people too! As we reached our 25th Anniversary, the NCCCSPA Executive Board voted to award one scholarship to cover conference registration fees to an attendee who has never joined us for one of our Annual Conferences. We look forward to seeing lots of new faces at future conferences!
