Aaron Bowman, President
Aaron is an assistant professor at Rockingham Community College. Aaron began teaching at RCC in 2016, having taught at other colleges since 2005. Previously, he worked as an archaeologist at Wake Forest University in the Public Archaeology program. Aaron is a graduate of Wake Forest University and East Carolina University. He also spent time as a graduate student at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. His research interests include fieldwork on Roatan Island in Honduras, Central America, and Eisenerz, Austria in Europe. Aaron has served in a number of professional organizations, including Councilor in the Southern Anthropological Society, Regional Representative in the North Carolina Community College Sociology and Psychology Association, and President of the Southern Anthropological Society (2014-12016). Aaron currently serves as the Vice President of the North Carolina Community College Sociology and Psychology Association.
Aaron teaches courses in anthropology, sociology, critical thinking, and college success. |
