Ashleigh Howard, Media & Marketing Coordinator

Ashleigh Howard (she/her) joined the NCCCSPA Executive Board as the Media & Marketing Coordinator in 2026. She currently works as a full-time Sociology Instructor at Pitt Community College. In addition to teaching sociology, Ashleigh serves as a faculty advisor to the Gender-Sexuality Alliance (GSA) student club, academic advisor, and mentor to first-generation college students. Prior to joining PCC, Ashleigh worked at several other colleges as a Sociology Instructor, Academic Advisor, Department Chair, and Director of Research & Institutional Effectiveness.

In her free time, Ashleigh enjoys cross-stitching pop culture portraits, attending metal/punk shows, visiting museums and state parks, watching Ken Burns documentaries, spending time with family and her beloved dog, Arlo, and collecting dead houseplants.
