The NCCCSPA was formed on March 23, 1999 at the closing session of the North Carolina Community College Psychology/Sociology Curriculum Improvement Project in Southern Pines, North Carolina.
The
purpose of the NCCCSPA is to promote communication and cooperation among NC sociology and
psychology faculty, to address issues and policies of interest to these disciplines, to
provide opportunities for professional and career development, and to support effective
teaching.
